Pimples Around The Chest With Oily, Dense Pus?
Greetings Doctor! I have for years had a number of pimples around my chest area. I usually leave it because it’s almost never inflammation / red. But sometimes I like to squeeze and often it comes out with pretty much solid pus like pasta and oily / shiny. This is very different from mature pus on non-oily facial acne. This is how to treat it, use any topical medication does not work, because the position of the acne does not fit on the thin surface of the skin, further down.
Lumps like pimples which when squeezed out like white paste can be pimples, boils, and blackheads. In general, this condition occurs because the clogged skin pores due to dead skin cells mixed with excess oil and infected with bacteria that cause acne.
To help deal with pimples on the chest, you can do the following tips:
Avoid squeezing pimples because they can cause blackish scars on the skin, and if the skin gets injured will increase the risk of secondary infection
Use products that contain salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, sulfur
Make sure all products used in the skin are non-comedogenic
Keep your body clean
Use comfortable clothes and a bra that is not tight
If acne continues to appear in the same place, I suggest that you consult directly with a dermatologist so that you can be sure of the condition of the skin on your chest so that you can be given more optimal management. If necessary the doctor can extract the acne, extraction will be done in a sterile way to minimize infection. The doctor can also provide further treatment for example with creams that contain retinoids, antibiotics, and additional measures if needed such as steroid injection, mesotherapy, or chemical peels. This type of treatment will certainly be adjusted to the condition of your skin.
Hope it helps you,
