Possible Pregnancy In KB Users?
I just installed a new 4-month kb implant this … 2 months I first menstruated, then the last 2 months did not menstruate … Then what is the cause of my pregnancy, while I have already been implanted? Please answer yes …
Hello Dadih, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
The use of family planning, including implants, is indeed intended to help prevent unwanted pregnancies, but even though the success rate is quite high (can reach 90% more) the possibility for this KB to fail and cause a pregnancy still exists because until now there is no type of birth control which can guarantee 100% of users do not experience failure and cause a pregnancy.
The biggest possibility of a failure is that the hormones released from the implant fail to interrupt the menstrual cycle, causing the eggs to remain produced and incidentally successfully fertilized by sperm from your husband.
To ascertain whether you are pregnant or not, it is advisable to re-test the testpack and check with the obstetrician.
If indeed you are experiencing a pregnancy, no need to worry because the use of these implants is not dangerous for the fetus and the doctor will help determine what actions are next recommended for you.
I hope this helps.
