Postoperative Care For Appendicitis?
I want to ask .. I left 2 months after my appendix surgery was dry and I was working lightly “just … I want to ask if I should go check with my surgeon or not, if I don’t go check it is okay or not
Hello Zidan Aditya,
Appendicitis is a condition in which the appendix or appendix becomes inflamed which causes pain in the lower abdomen which, if left unchecked, can cause the inflamed intestine to burst and cause infection in the abdominal cavity. To deal with it, an appendix removal operation was performed. Appendix surgery itself is performed with various methods ranging from open appendectomy, keyhole surgery or laparoscopy or laparotomy if there is an infection in the abdominal cavity where a wider incision is required.
After surgery, there are several things that need to be considered, including:
Take drugs given by the doctor as directed and until they run out if antibiotics are given
Get enough rest
Avoid strenuous activity in the weeks after surgery
Perform control regularly
If it has been 2 months ago, the operation has been carried out but there are no complaints whatsoever and the wound is also good then it is not okay to control it, but if complaints arise such as pain in the surgery scar, redness of the surgery scar, continuous pain, vomiting, continuous cough, prolonged fever it is necessary to do an examination by a doctor to assess your condition.
