Pregnant After A Curette 2 Months?
I am Nova, age 21. I curetted on 8th, after that on 21st I menstruated for approximately 1 week. In February I did not go through menstruation until March 11, I finally decided to check it out because I felt sick and dizzy. And I was positively pregnant. Is that reasonable, please direct it. Because I was consulted to the nearest midwife but I wasn’t given any clarity. Thank you
Good evening, thanks for the question
Women with a history of previous miscarriages have a risk of not only miscarriage in subsequent pregnancies, but also at risk of experiencing the threat of miscarriage, premature labor, bleeding after delivery in subsequent pregnancies.
But on the other hand there is no prohibition on returning to pregnancy after a miscarriage.
Recent research suggests that there is no compelling reason to postpone pregnancy for a period of time after a first miscarriage. Another study said that in a period of 6 months or less after a miscarriage is the best time for women to get pregnant again.
This is because at that time there is a lower risk of complications in pregnancy than if delaying the pregnancy for too long. If indeed you are physically and mentally ready to get pregnant again, then it really isn't too problematic.
But you should still do routine checks with obstetricians so that the development of pregnancy can always be monitored.
That's all, hope you can help
