Red Circle On The Cornea Of the Eye?
My eyes have symptoms of dry eyes about 4-5 days ago, I think only red eyes because tired / sleepy usual. So at the beginning of the day I ignored it. The second day my red eyes have not improved, so I have had eye drops to this day. Red streaks can fade every day but come back again. Yesterday I slept with my eyes like they were light sensitive so I couldn’t open it for too long. The day after, I closed my eyes. Does that also make my eyes more tired ?. Just this afternoon I saw it again, my eyes showed red streaks neatly rotating around the cornea, because of what effect?
Hello Tessa, Thank you for the question.
Symptoms of red eye can be accompanied by symptoms of watery eyes, a lump in the eye, accumulation of eye dirt, swollen eye lashes, sensitivity to light, blurred vision, and headaches. Some of the causes of red eye complaints are:
conjunctivitis keratitis abrasion dry eye corneas Given that this symptom has been going on for almost a week, it would be nice if you immediately consulted an ophthalmologist before the symptoms got worse and cause further complications. The doctor needs to ask about your complaints and do an examination of your eyes. From this examination, the doctor will find out the cause and can provide appropriate treatment. Without a doctor's examination, it's impossible to ascertain the cause.
While waiting for a doctor's consultation, please do the following suggestions:
avoid rubbing red eyes avoid exposure to dust or other air pollution avoid using eye cosmetics avoid using contact lenses for a while if you are a contact lens user using eye drops that act as artificial tears to prevent dry eyes Hope it helps.
