Red Eyes After Eating?
Good evening I want to ask .. why every time after finishing eating my eyes are red on the inside of my eyelids.
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
The inner eyelid is covered by a layer of conjunctiva. This conjunctival layer is the outermost layer that contains blood vessels. In someone who experiences inflammation or conjunctivitis in his medical language, will experience a widening of the conjunctival blood vessels so that they appear redder than normal. Normal conjunctiva will turn pink.
The factors causing conjunctivitis are infection, allergic reactions and irritation reactions. Infection can be caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. Allergic reactions can occur due to eyes being exposed to allergens from the air (pollen and hair) or due to hands containing allergens rubbing the eyes. While irritant reactions can occur as a result of dripping drugs into the eye, being exposed to splashes of substances (liquids, gases or particles of solid objects), dust, rubbing the eyes and others.
Maybe one of the conditions above is the cause of your complaint. To overcome this, avoid rubbing your eyes. Routinely drops eye drops containing sterile liquid replacement for tears. Blink often. Consult an eye specialist immediately if the complaint gets worse.
Thus hopefully useful.
