Red Itching With Bruising On The Skin And Brown Discharge?
I have itching and when I scratch it turns red and there’s bruising and lately I’ve also been experiencing brown vaginal discharge, why?
Hi Yunita, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. The symptoms you mention, actually point more to several different conditions than one continuous disease. Starting from itching, itching can appear due to various things, including allergies, fungal infections, skin irritations, cosmetic side effects, insect bites, and so on. Even if examined further, itching can also occur due to accumulation of bilirubin in the skin and due to neurological disorders. And of course, if you scratch too hard, a reddish tint will appear.
Meanwhile, bruising occurs when blood vessels near the surface of the skin are broken or damaged, which can occur due to impact or injury. So that blood comes out of the blood vessels and fills the space around it and forms a bruise. Over time, the color of the bruise will change as the blood is reabsorbed by the body.
If it's not caused by an injury, but it suddenly appears on its own, bruising can be a sign of a more serious disease, such as kidney disease, kidney failure, hemophilia B, leukemia and so on, which for further explanation you can read by clicking on the following link to our article on the Causes of Bruises.
Finally, regarding vaginal discharge, brown discharge is often a concern, but generally this is a normal condition. Brown discharge can appear because the blood that is released is not fresh blood, and it is natural to appear especially at the end of menstruation. Check your condition with a gynecologist if your symptoms are accompanied by pelvic pain, itching in the genitals or heavy bleeding.
In conclusion, more information is needed, as well as a physical examination by looking directly and perhaps supporting examinations to avoid misunderstandings and further narrow down the possible conditions that you are experiencing. Our advice, check with a dermatologist and veterinarian so that your complaints of itching, reddened skin and bruising can be studied further regarding the cause of the appearance. Your doctor will probably give you an antihistamine to reduce itching and in the meantime, avoid taking warm baths and avoid scratching too hard. I hope you and your family are always healthy.
That's all, hope it helps.
