Red Rash On The Body?
I want to ask. This week and I have a red rash that initially only appeared on the chest. At this time until my back the rash☺
Rashes on the skin can leave scars that are brownish or darker than normal skin. This condition is known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation can occur after the following skin conditions:
Skin infections: fungi (for example: tinea corporis), bacteria (pyoderma), viruses (chicken pox), and mites (scabies)
Generally, hyperpigmentation can fade with time. Hyperpigmentation can occur in deep wounds, there are secondary infections, and fade longer when older. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is not harmful in terms of health, but can interfere with appearance.
The following are ways to treat post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation:
The use of skin creams (topical) which are brightening / whitening. Generally contain ingredients such as hydroquinone, tretinoin, corticosteroids, glycolic acid, and azelaic acid. The use of these creams should be consulted first with a doctor. The use of these topical medications must be routine and in a short period of time (not instant results) to help fade dark spots due to inflammation.
Use sunscreen regularly to prevent dark spots (if in an area exposed to sunlight)
Thus the explanation from me, hopefully useful.
