Hello, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
The symptoms you experience may point to Shingles. Herpes zoster can occur due to reactivation of the Varicella zoster virus, which is the same virus that causes chickenpox. Herpes zoster usually gives symptoms in the form of a rash on certain nerve dermatomes that feels painful or hot. Other possible causes of the rash on your face include:
skin infections (can be bacterial or fungal infections) allergies or irritation due to the use of certain drugs or chemicals that stick to your face and neck (contact dermatitis) rosacea atopic eczema seborrheic dermatitis To be able to determine the cause of a skin disorder, direct skin examination is required , therefore, it's a good idea to check yourself directly to a dermatologist. Your doctor can also perform additional examinations if necessary, such as a swab on the lesion or a skin biopsy if needed.
Some of the things you can do right now:
Avoid scratching the lesions on your skin Avoid touching the lesions Clean your skin area with water and mild soap (do not use antiseptic soap) If you feel pain, you can compress the area of the lesion on your face with a gauze moistened with cool water. to the doctor immediately you do. If it is caused by Herpes zoster, administering antiviral drugs for the first 72 hours after the appearance of the lesions can help shorten the time of illness.
