Red Rashes On The Palms And Fingers.?
Good evening doctor. My mother is nursing 29 years. What I want to ask is why suddenly my hands (palms and fingers) suddenly red rash from morning to evening. The rash does not disappear. I was afraid of doctors because I had never experienced this before. Is that dangerous doctor? I see my child (7 months) also often red fingertips every time he decapitated his hand. Is this not a doctor’s problem? Please enlighten me. Thank you in advance doctor.
Good afternoon, thanks for the question
There are several possible causes for the appearance of reddish rashes on the palms, including:
1. Allergic reaction
Allergies to food or drugs can trigger allergic reactions, one of which is a red rash. The skin can also itch, fluid-filled nodules, or bumps. Other symptoms in allergic conditions such as nausea, diarrhea, difficulty swallowing to difficulty breathing.
2. Dry skin
The more the skin surface of the skin, the more it will trigger complaints of itching to rashes.
3. Contact dermatitis
Is a form of skin eczema due to a history of contact with irritants. Redness and itching rash are the main complaints in this condition, which can occur acute or chronic depending on the strength of irritants.
Psoriasis causes the formation of thick and reddish skin plaque.
5. Hand foot mouth disease
This condition is actually more attacking the age of children and is very contagious. Symptoms are also accompanied by fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers, reddish nodules on the palms and legs, and decreased appetite.
6. Dishidrotic eczema
It is a type of skin eczema which is characterized by the appearance of small reddish nodules that itch on the palms. Skin complaints can also occur on the soles of the feet.
7. Bacterial infection in the skin
Infection of germs on the skin often occurs due to poor hygiene. This condition can be transmitted through direct individual contact, and skin lesions can expand due to scratching.
Treatment of complaints of rashes on the palms is very dependent on the underlying cause based on the results of direct examination by a doctor. Some cases of rashes can recover spontaneously so that it does not require special therapy. Other cases only require simple therapy, for example by using a skin moisturizer. Therefore, do further consultation with your doctor if the complaints do not subside to get adequate treatment.
That's all, hope you can help
