Red Spots On The Body Of A 2 Year Old Child When The Air Is Hot?
good evening.. Hello doctor, I am 21 years old. At home, I have a 2 year old nephew. Whenever the weather is hot, my niece’s body will appear red spots. Whether on the back, stomach, hands and back of the shoulders, the skin seems to be blistered. A few days ago my nephew was taken to the midwife and it turned out to be gabaken. And so on.
Skin rashes can arise from many causes ranging from allergic reactions, bacterial infections, viral infections such as measles, smallpox, and others, fungal infections, skin inflammation, insect bites and others so that an immediate examination by a doctor or dermatologist is needed to determine the cause.
Gabaken or measles is a viral infection that can cause symptoms such as red eyes, cough, runny nose, fever, or grayish patches in the mouth and then accompanied by a rash all over the body, but not blisters or lumps filled with water. The treatment itself does not require special resistance because the body's immune system will fight, but treatment is aimed at overcoming the symptoms that arise and supportive measures such as providing fluid intake, adequate rest, vitamin A administration and also maintaining nutritional intake.
If blisters appear on the skin rash, this needs to be watched out for because it can arise due to several possible causes such as impetigo, smallpox, skin rash with secondary infection, and others so it is best to have an immediate examination by a doctor.
