Red Spots On The Hands But Not Itchy?
Night doc? R nI want to ask, I’ve seen a red spot on my hand for 1 week but it doesn’t itch, it just appears. R nI want to ask what is it, doc?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The presence of reddish spots on the hands does not always represent a dangerous condition. These spots can occur due to rupture or dilation of blood vessels under the skin, for example due to prolonged hand pressure, injury, lifting heavy loads, and so on. It could also, these red spots occur due to other causes, for example:
Red nevus (red mole) Bites of mosquitoes, insects, or other Ptechie animals, for example due to dengue fever, ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura), vitamin K deficiency, spinal cord disorders, blood cancer, hemophilia, deficiency of other blood clotting factors Inflammation of the skin, for example due to infection (can be due to fungi, bacteria, viruses), allergies, irritation Benign or malignant tumors on the skin Side effects of drugs, for example aspirin, NSAIDs, etc. Are there any other complaints that arise apart from these spots? If not, chances are that your condition is not dangerous. However, to be sure, there's nothing wrong with checking with your doctor or dermatologist directly so that you can be given the right treatment. If you suspect that the rash is due to a more serious cause, your doctor may recommend that you undergo further tests, such as allergy tests, blood tests, biopsy, and so on.
There are no specific steps that we recommend for you at this time. However, you should improve your personal hygiene again and avoid contact between the skin and substances that have the potential to trigger allergic reactions or irritation. Also avoid picking, squeezing, or giving careless treatment to the spots that appear without direct advice from the doctor who examined you.
Hope it helps ..
