Red Spots On The Skin Accompanied By Excessive Itching That Is Increasingly Spreading?
, 2017 last September my wrist itched after I woke up without knowing the cause. A few days after that itching continues on the side of the thigh and then on the right side of the body itching. The itching is not intense. It only lasted a few moments after it disappeared. But because I scratched, it made an impression to this day. After that because I had a habit of washing my hands, I had nuvo soap at that time which tasted rather cold so I used it to wash my hands. A few days between my fingers became dark red brownish red. Initially not itchy. But at the end of the year, between my little fingers there were spots. I was curious, so I pushed it out. I leave it. But the next day when I wake up, there is still water coming out between my fingers. Long story short after taking some drugs such as betadine and baycuten, between my fingers, I got a little better. But unfortunately the skin between the fingers grow spots only if I wash my hands and wake up at room temperature that makes my body warm, not when I sleep with the AC on. Conversely on my left and right wrist sometimes but not often there is blushing accompanied by dry skin. My question is whether there are certain organisms or other objects that cause my skin like this? Then what natural medicines and medical drugs that are suitable for cases like this? A little extra at my sister’s house to keep dogs. I am a little suspicious whether the dog is a factor in my skin becoming itchy because the dog also sleeps in my separate room with the AC on. Please pay attention and help the doctor.
Hello Tony, Thank you for the question.
Have you ever seen a doctor because this complaint has been going on for a very long time? Do family members living in the same house experience similar complaints? Itching complaints accompanied by skin rashes (spots) can be caused by:
bacterial infection (impetigo)
Because of the many causes of complaints that you submit, to ensure the cause of course it is necessary to check by a doctor directly, please see your skin specialist. After knowing your complaint in more detail, the doctor will examine the skin rash. If necessary, the doctor will perform skin scrapings to be examined in the laboratory so that it can determine the cause. Your doctor may also suggest an allergy test to find out if you have allergies to certain things. After knowing the cause, the new doctor can provide treatment that is appropriate for you. The following advice should also be done:
avoid scratching itchy skin, use salicyl powder or calamine lotion to relieve itching
avoid breaking the spots
keep your place of cleanliness especially your room
clean sheets, pillowcases and bolsters, blankets, and carpets regularly with warm water
Put the mattress in the sun
Avoid sharing personal items with others such as towels or clothing
if you have an allergy, you should avoid exposure to it
Hopefully this information is useful.
