Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Lumps on the soles of the feet that feel pain when pressed are most often caused by the eyes of a fish or also called clavus. Other possible causes are infections of the skin of the soles of the feet (for example due to being pricked when walking, intruding foreign objects / possessions), can also be caused by HPV infection (warts on the feet), or in more rare conditions, can be caused by Osler nodes (immune deposition complex in the skin, usually occurs in people with infective endocarditis).
Basically a lesion on the skin must be examined directly to be known with certainty the etiology. It is better if you do an examination to a dermatologist for direct evaluation and treatment is given that best suits the diagnosis. Some things you can do right now:
Use comfortable shoes or footwear with soft, soft pads
Apply a moisturizer or petroleum jelly to the lesion and cover it with wound tape to reduce the hardness and pain in the lesion
Do not stab, squeeze, squeeze, or rub the lesion on the leg
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
