Reducing Sexual Desire?
Excuse me doctor, I have high sexual desire. I am 18 years old and not married. I am a woman. I have high sexual desire above normal people. Sometimes when I don’t see anything pornographic my passion rises. I personally feel dirty with myself. The rumors of this passion come from excess hormones and can be lowered by anti-depressants. But I don’t want to eat anti-depressant because it seems like it is forbidden by the government. I don’t know whether anti-depressants are drugs or not. And I’m also scared of drugs like that because of the side effects. Restraining this passion has also caused my uterus to ache even though there is no menstruation and heartburn. So is there a natural food that can reduce arousal? Are there foods that I should avoid so that my passion doesn’t get higher? Thank you, doctor
Good afternoon. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The condition of excessive sexual arousal is often referred to as hyperskesual conditions, it can be triggered by several things that might occur such as
1. Stress conditions
2. A stimulating environment increases sexual arousal
3. Past trauma
This is very much related to a person's psychological condition, so it is better if you have already interfered with consulting a doctor, especially a psychiatrist, so that it can be treated by counseling. If it is not possible, the doctor will usually consider giving medication.
Some things that can be done to ease are
1. Avoid environments with high sexual stimuli
2. Divert free time with positive activities
3. Increase worship and religious activities.
Thus the information that we can convey may be useful thanks
