Regular Menstruation After Miscarriage Due To Ectopic Pregnancy, Is The Uterus Clean?
3 months ago I miscarried because I had an ectopic pregnancy and I never went to the hospital for consultation but now my periods are regular. Does yesterday’s miscarriage mean I’m clean with my regular menstruation?????
An ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy outside the womb. This happens when the fetus implants and develops not in the uterine cavity, but in places that it should not, such as the fallopian tubes, ovaries, cervix and even the abdominal cavity. Ectopic pregnancies generally do not last long, because the fetus requires oxygen intake from the placenta which is implanted in the uterus. The uterus is very elastic and is the most perfect place to develop.
Usually, ectopic pregnancy is detected by ultrasound examination in early pregnancy control. However, it can also only be known after an ectopic pregnancy is interrupted, that is, when it causes symptoms. For example, a fetus develops in an inelastic fallopian tube so that the fallopian tube ruptures and causes life-threatening bleeding. Symptoms that arise are usually pain on one side of the abdomen, light vaginal bleeding, and in severe cases can cause shock and loss of consciousness. However, some ectopic pregnancies are self-absorbed and cause minimal symptoms.
If the pregnancy is still there, then the hCG hormone will still be in the body and ovulation will not occur. Regular periods signal ovulation, which means that there is no possibility of pregnancy. However, you should still check with your obstetrician regarding your previous condition to determine whether your condition does not require further action.
