Results MCU Kidney Location Is Not In Place?

Dear Doctor,

1 Answer:

Hello Tubagus, thanks for the question to HealthReplies.com

Kidney is an organ shaped like red beans with the size of a fist which is located under the back ribs right and left. The right kidney is slightly lower than the left kidney.

In some people, it can be found that the kidneys are located differently from where they should be, could be more up, more down, on different sides. These conditions are called ectopic kidney. Sometimes it can also be found that the kidneys are united with the kidneys next to one side (called fused kidney) or different sides (called horseshoe kidney). These abnormalities are congenital disorders (congenital) whose cause is a disruption during fetal development during the womb. Often patients with congenital abnormalities in the kidney do not experience any symptoms and this abnormality is discovered accidentally during an examination for something else. However, some people who have congenital abnormalities in the kidneys as mentioned above can more easily experience kidney infections, kidney stones, trauma / injury to the kidneys.

If no specific symptoms are felt, this condition will usually be left alone and will not be given any therapy.

So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
