Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Based on the results of the ultrasound your child has cholangitis or inflammation of the bile ducts in the liver. The exact cause cannot be known only from the results of the ultrasound alone, but must be analyzed together with the results of physical examination and other laboratory tests. Sometimes an additional examination is also needed in the form of a biopsy (taking a little bile duct tissue) to confirm the diagnosis. You should bring the results of the ultrasound to a pediatrician who recommends the examination to be analyzed along with other laboratory tests that may have been done. Your pediatrician will also recommend a biopsy if possible. Treatment will also depend on the exact diagnosis and the clinical condition of the baby.
Cholangitis can cause obstruction of the bile flow in infants so it is very possible this condition which causes your baby to turn yellow (can also be accompanied by other symptoms such as brown urine such as tea, pale chapters, abdominal pain, itching, etc.).
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
