Rules For Changing Consumption Of Different Birth Control Pill Brands?
I have never been in the injection club, nor have I taken a pill, then I have taken the pill yasmin for 21 days, but I want to replace it with a regular pill, will it not happen? I beg your pardon
Good evening, thanks for the question
Both the Yasmin Pill or the mainstay are classified as a combination of two types of hormones. The difference between the mainstay birth control pill and yasmin in addition to the number of pills in each blister, the content of the hormone progestin in it is slightly different. The mainstay birth control pill contains levonorgestrel progestin, while the Yasmin pill contains drospirenone progestin. Yasmin birth control pills are recommended for treating acne complaints, while the mainstay birth control pill is the exact opposite which is prone to cause acne.
Regarding the transition from KB to mainstay, it should be done after spending one package of your yasmin pill. After you spend 21 yasmin pills, then followed by the arrival of menstruation, then you can start a reliable birth control pill that contains hormones since the first day of menstruation. If you start from the third day of menstruation or more then after that you need to use additional protection (condoms) if you want to have sex for the next 7 days. Keep in mind that the consumption of birth control pills must be obedient and routine at the same time to avoid protection failure.
That's all, hope you can help
