Rules For Taking Food Supplements For Children Aged 19 Months?
Malem, I want to ask. On the 31st December 2016 kmren I consulted the DSA my son’s problem was that the delay of my child’s age was 19 months. DSA says that for the time being given prolacta for baby first for the nutrition of the brain, well given 10 capsules is enough for 10 days. I want to ask if I have finished what should be continued to buy a pharmacy or should I consult again to the doctor? Please advise
Good morning, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. The product you mentioned is a food supplement for babies that contains various nutrients such as DHA, EPA and arachidonic acid. This product is basically a fish oil that works to help the brain development of children, so this is not a drug, just additional nutrition.
Regarding your question, this supplement is actually sold freely and you can buy without a doctor's prescription, but you should still consult and confirm in advance about whether to continue or finish it. Because the doctor who handles it must have certain targets and its own way to handle the condition of your child based on the examination he had done.
That way, our advice goes back to the doctor who is treating your child and beforehand you can prepare similar questions in advance by writing them down on paper. Keep stimulating your child by talking to him, staying patient, and always meeting his nutritional needs. So, hopefully answering your question.
