1 Answer:

Hello Zho,

Injuries to the ends of the body are often more painful than other locations because at the ends of the body there are more cells for the sense of touch, such as the fingertips. The wound on the finger that is operated on itself will cause pain and aches, especially because the wound has not fully healed and there are many touch receptors on the skin of the finger so that it will cause pain every time it is touched.

For this reason, efforts should be made to help the wound healing process, which includes keeping the wound clean to prevent irritation and infection, keeping the wound dry, taking medication as recommended by a doctor, eating balanced nutritious food, especially foods containing protein to help wound healing, and watch for signs of infection such as pus, swelling, severe pain or slow wound healing. If this happens, check with the doctor who performed the operation on you so that your condition will be assessed and given further treatment.
