Selection Of Toothpaste For Sensitive Teeth?
Hi dokPd that sensitive toothpaste is a potassium nitrate or potassium citrate desentizer. So what’s the difference? What is the difference between those 2 desentizers which is effective for sensitive teeth? Thx
Hello Warung Nikolai, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Potassium citrate and potassium nitrate are basically the same salt formed from potassium (potassium). Salts containing potassium, can basically be used as a desensitizer in toothpaste that is made specifically for sensitive teeth.
Based on existing studies, all potassium salts used as desensitizers in special toothpaste for sensitive teeth, have the same effectiveness in helping to reduce tooth sensitivity by reducing the nerve ability of the tooth.
To make sure which salt is better and more suitable for conditions as sensitive as teeth that you may be experiencing, it is highly recommended to consult further with your dentist.
I hope this helps.
