Sewing Wounds That Open After Fish Eye Surgery?
hello, so after the fish eye surgery was taken and it was hooked after 7 days in jait it finally opened when I opened it. I saw a little bit open (but the doctor didn’t check the scr detail and said it could be made normal way), coincidentally the location was part heel. When I try to walk the longer openings that actually open the outside and don’t hurt, what should I do? is it okay to be made running? thank you for your help
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
First, of course, it needs to be seen directly whether the stitches are open to the inside or only the outer skin that looks still looks unified (but the inside has closed). In general, the stitches on the skin will close and heal within 1-2 weeks, but after the removal of the fish eye surgery, you are advised to continue to limit the pressure on the operated leg until at least 3 weeks postoperatively. You are advised to keep on walking so that the muscles and joints in the legs are not stiff, but be careful when walking so that you do not put too much pressure on the newly operated area. Use comfortable shoes during this healing period, you can also provide a softer wedge in the heel area of your shoe to minimize pressure in that area.
If the operated part is painful when you are walking or are still bleeding, you should go back to the doctor who operated on you to be able to do further evaluation.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
