Shortness Of Breath And A Lump In The Throat?
Hello, I have been feeling heavy breathing for 3 days and there is a lump in my throat, plus there is phlegm which is a little thick but still white so it feels tight to breathe. But I don’t feel coughing, runny nose / fever. Just a little dizzy. I want to ask the doctor, what are these symptoms? Thank you doctor
Hi Novita, thank you for asking the HealthReplies.com team.
Complaints that you feel can be caused by stomach acid disease or GERD. In this condition will cause anxiety such as burning sensation in the chest, shortness of breath, throat feels lumpy, flatulence, nausea, and so forth. In addition, it can also be caused by sinusitis or sinus wall inflammation, asthma, bronchitis or inflammation of the airways. Some of the above can cause complaints as you feel. However, further tests need to be done to find out the cause.
You should be able to do some of this at home to help reduce complaints: avoid caffeine consumption, avoid consuming spicy and acidic foods, avoid lying down after eating, multiply water consumption, if you have allergies then avoid triggering your allergies, consuming nutritious foods, resting enough, manage stress well, and avoid using tight clothing.
> With an ongoing corona outbreak, it is best to avoid doing activities outside the home except for important and urgent needs. Routine hand washing. Avoid crowded places. Use a mask when on the move outside the home. Keep your body and family endurance.
Thank you, hope that helps.
