Shortness Of Breath, Dizziness, Nausea, Is The Corona Virus?

Doc I want to ask, since the corona outbreak, I was told to work with a mask at the office, and because the mask was thin I finally liked to be coated with tissue. Last night my head was a bit dizzy, then I drank bodrex …. After drinking bodrex I drank sakatonic abc my sister …. After an hour I drank a cap 3 foot solution, because from my face I felt a dry throat accompanied by a congested nose … After that, at night I felt that my neck had something, which made my breath so short, I couldn’t sleep and in the morning I was sick. Not feeling too weak, but not feeling well … That could be a symptom of corona or pain due to wrong medication last night, or because of what, doc? And what should I do, because the shortness of breath is rather annoying, so I feel like I’m tired čÖü

Hello Nurul, Thank you for the question.

Indeed at this time, many people are worried about the corona virus infection given the increasing number of cases. Symptoms of dry throat accompanied by nasal congestion are not necessarily caused by the corona virus. These symptoms can be caused by exposure to dust or other air pollution, flu, or colds (mild infection of the respiratory tract caused by rhinovirus).

Corona virus generally causes flu-like symptoms but the common symptoms that are usually found in sufferers are cough, high fever, and shortness of breath. This virus can be transmitted by inhaling coughing / sneezing from patients, touching the nose, mouth, or eyes after touching objects contaminated with the virus, and contact with patients. You can be suspected of being infected with a corona virus if you have symptoms and risk factors for transmission, namely a history of traveling to a country that already has a corona virus case or a history of contact / interaction with other people who are suspected or even confirmed to have a corona virus infection in the last 2 weeks. Thus, if your symptoms are mild and there is no history of the above in the last 2 weeks, then the possibility of contracting the corona virus is low.

However, as a preventative measure for contracting the corona virus, what you can do is:

be diligent in maintaining the cleanliness of your hands by washing your hands regularly with soap and clean water or, if not available, can use hand sanitizer that builds alcohol at least 60% avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes before you wash your hands limit interaction with others and should stay at home if not urgent always cover your mouth and nose if you are coughing or sneezing using a tissue which is then thrown into the trash or closed by using the inside of the arm around the elbow to maintain the cleanliness of the house using a mask that is recommended if you are sick of coughing and colds other people if you have to be outside the home in the meantime to deal with your symptoms, you can do:

multiply consumption of nutritious food multiply consumption of water at least 2-3 liters every day enough rest for 7-9 hours every day avoid exposure to cigarette smoke, dust or other air pollution use a humidifier to prevent dry air that can make the throat being dry You are advised to check with your nearest doctor only if you have symptoms of high fever (38 C or more) and shortness of breath because at this time, as much as possible you should stay at home and avoid crowds / public places.

Hopefully this information helps you.
