1 Answer:

Hello Rusdah,

Thank you for the question.

Corona disease (COVID-19, Coronavirus disease - 2019) is now starting to reach many countries in the world. Not only China, this disease also began to spread to other countries, including Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Therefore, it is not quite right to mention that there is no disease in Corona in Saudi Arabia.

An examination to detect Corona's disease has so far been recommended for people with the following conditions:

Have symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, and shortness of breath Having a history of traveling to the COVID-19 outbreak area in the last 1-2 weeks Having a history of contacting people from the COVID-19 outbreak area in the last 1-2 weeks Having a history of contacting with sufferers COVID-19 in the last 1-2 weeks During the pilgrimage, millions of people from various countries gathered to become one place, not including people from the COVID-19 outbreak area (before the introduction of the umroh ban on the colors of foreign countries in recent times) . When doing this worship too, physically drained so that the immune system often becomes decreased. Therefore, people who have just finished the pilgrimage are one of the groups who are at risk of contracting COVID-19, especially if during worship they do not use adequate protection (including wearing masks and washing their hands with antiseptic soap).

However, this does not necessarily mean that all people who have gone home for the pilgrimage must be examined immediately to detect the possibility of contracting COVID-19. Examination only needs to be done if symptoms appear as mentioned above. Not only COVID-19 actually, before the outbreak of SARS-CoV 2 from Chinya broke out, in Arab countries themselves have already plagued diseases originating from similar viruses, or also called MERS-CoV (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus). At first glance, the symptoms of these diseases can be the same. Therefore, if you experience symptoms similar to the above, patients should immediately consult a doctor or doctor of internal medicine for further examination and treatment.

Hope this helps ...
