Hello! I am a 16-year-old teenager, every time I wake up I have a habit of drinking coffee, because 30 minutes after I have to run + -2km, if I don’t consume caffeine, I usually get sleepy and unfocused, is that habit like that bad in the long run? Then what can I consume to stay focused while exercising. thanks.
Coffee contains caffeine which can help keep your body fresher. However, caffeine is not recommended for excessive consumption. In general, the maximum limit for caffeine consumption is 400 mg or about 2 cups of coffee.
Excessive or long-term consumption of caffeine can cause various negative effects such as:
