Signs Of Hydraencephaly?
info, doctor, about fetal hydranencephaly? how to know if the baby has fetal hydranencephaly? What does the ultrasound look like? and what are the signs and symptoms during pregnancy? thanks.
Hydraencephaly is a congenital disorder that is classified as rare. This disorder is in the form of a part of the brain replaced with a fluid-filled bag but the skull bones are still formed normally. When born the baby looks normal, but the longer the baby's muscle strength will be tense. In addition, other signs appear in the form of seizures, hydrocephalus, growth disturbances, visual and developmental disturbances.
The exact cause of this condition is not yet known, but there are several theories that suggest that hydranensaphy may occur due to infection of the uterus (womb) in early pregnancy, exposure of pregnant women to certain toxins (toxins) or due to impaired blood circulation to the fetus while in the womb.
Diagnosis of hydranencephaly is very difficult to make while the baby is still in the womb. Likewise, pregnant women whose fetuses have this abnormality generally do not show certain characteristics. Even new babies will show signs of abnormalities within a few months after birth. Investigations that can be done include angiofraphy, ct scan or transillumination examination. Because the hydranencephalic condition cannot be treated, the doctor will perform management to deal with the accompanying complaints, for example if the baby has a seizure, the doctor will provide anti-seizure.
So hopefully useful
