Skin Diseases Such As Itchy Red Bumps.
On my back there is a red lump that feels pretty much itchy. If scratched it will become skin irritation. I have used powder to reduce itching. But it still itches and if you scratch a lot more red bumps. What illness did I experience? Are there any food / clothing factors? Is there a cure for my illness? Do I need to take antihistamines?
Hello Ditya, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself that Dr. Rio will answer your question.
Based on the complaint you mentioned, it's still not specific enough to lead to a diagnosis of disease. But from some of the complaints that are felt, there are several possible diseases that occur, namely:
Varicella zoster, etc.
The above disease has almost the same signs and symptoms, but is caused by different causes. To be sure, you should consult yourself to the nearest doctor to do a check on your skin problems. The treatment given must also be based on the cause of the complaint.
Right now what you can do is:
Avoid scratching the excessively itchy parts of the body, because they can cause secondary infections.
Maintain cleanliness of the body.
Avoid foods / items that trigger itching.
Consumption of antihistamine drugs can be used to reduce your itching but may not necessarily eliminate the cause so it still needs to be examined by a doctor.
That's all the answers I can give. Thank you :)
