Sleep Using A Headset?
I want to ask, if you sleep using HeadSet BUT you don’t plug it in your cellphone, just plug it in your ear because it’s covering up the commotion. Is that okay? or there is no effect like how the hearing will decrease or what … Please help 🙂
Hello Miselang69 Thank you for asking with HealthReplies.com.
The use of a headset that is not connected to hear songs functions like an earplug or (earplug). Earplugs are generally used to avoid noise that is noisy or too big during sleep. For some people who are easily awakened by noise, it can be advisable to use earplugs.
Earplugs are basically safe to use, but there are some side effects or complications that can occur if used routinely. If used for a long time then the earplugs can push the earwax into the ear canal more so that it can cause buildup of earwax or ear wax. Besides the accumulated dirt can also increase the risk of infection of the ear (otitis externa or otitis media).
If there are several complaints such as pain in the ear, hearing loss, discharge from the ear canal, or other complaints in the ear then it should be advisable to consult directly with an ENT specialist.
Hopefully this information can be useful for you. Thank you
