Sneezing Accompanied By Nasal Discharge And Body Aches?
Hi My calves felt a little painful, from morning sneezing, cummy, and phlegm coming out of my nose like water. Either my body was warm but not shivering. I don’t have a thermometer to make sure my body has a fever or not. I have a cold or a cold?
Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com,
Colds are mucous discharge from the nose that aims to maintain the moisture of the nasal cavity and prevent foreign objects from entering the respiratory tract. Colds can occur temporarily or disappear-arise in a long time. Colds can occur accompanied by other symptoms such as nasal congestion, headaches, loss of cucumber ability, coughing, sore throat, or pain in the face and around the nose, or fever. Colds, sneezing and headaches can be caused by several possibilities, including:
Sinus infection. Infection of the nose. An allergic reaction to certain substances, pollutants, smoke, and dust. Reaction to weather that is too dry and cold. Consumption of foods that are too spicy / hot. Hormonal imbalance conditions, for example in pregnancy. Pain in the calf needs to be explored further, since when the symptoms appear, whether they appear after trauma, impact, whether they appear after a fever, pain characteristics in the calf, whether there is a history of being exposed to flooding, a history of sports or strenuous activities especially running, basketball, soccer, or other sports, past medical history, and medication history that you have consumed related to pain in the calf. If the pain in the calf is local and is not related to other symptoms, it can be caused by excessive use of muscles, injuries to the ligaments or tendons. However, if calf pain is related to the fever that you are experiencing, a history of exposure to flooding in the leg area can be suspected of leptospirosis. Of course, other diagnoses can be considered according to clinical symptoms, course of disease, physical examination and support.
To confirm your condition and diagnosis now, it is advisable to see a doctor to undergo further examination and management. The need for supporting examinations or referrals to specialist doctors will be adjusted according to the indications after the examination. It is not recommended to do strenuous activities first, maintain adequate diet and rest, avoid taking self medication without doctor's instructions.
Hopefully this information can help you,
