Hello Dwi Kartika,
Discharge from the ear can arise as a result of ear infections, especially infections in the middle, this condition can be triggered by various causes such as poorly treated respiratory infections, complications of rhinitis or sinusitis, certain weather conditions, the habit of picking ears, swimming, and others cause a buildup of mucus, causing infection.
Middle ear infection or otitis media can cause symptoms such as fever, earache, feeling tired, hearing loss, discharge from inside the ear, a lump behind the ear, to cause damage if not treated properly. If you have checked yourself with an ENT doctor and get treatment or treatment, one of which is antibiotics, keep taking the drugs given as recommended, both oral medicines and drops.
If there is no change after the antibiotics run out, check with your ENT doctor for an evaluation of your condition. If necessary, the doctor will also perform cleaning procedures or other procedures such as myringotomy if the fluid is very large and causes high pressure in the middle ear or on the eardrum. Try not to pick your ears, avoid swimming, and also drink more water and take medication according to the rules to help healing.
