Sore Throat With A History Of Tonsils?
amualaikum.. i want to ask.. i’m 22 years old but how come my teeth are growing above? it hurts to eat. and also how come my throat feels like there is meat growing but it’s on the right side. there’s a red line around it too. I’ve had tonsillitis before but when I was a kid I had surgery on my 22nd tonsil. Could my tonsils come back again? but there’s no cough like before. It just hurts sometimes. Thank you in advance for the answer..

Based on the complaint you stated, it is possible that the new tooth that has grown is a wisdom tooth that may grow at the age of 20 years and over. Indeed, the new wisdom teeth will feel painful and uncomfortable, especially when going to eat. And sometimes the location of the growth of wisdom teeth is not right, making teeth difficult to clean and increasing the risk for cavities and infections that cause tooth pain. So usually for the treatment, do a consultation with your dentist whether the tooth should be preserved or extracted.
For sore throats that occur, it's unlikely to be caused by tonsils because based on your story, you've had surgery to remove tonsils or tonsils so the chances of a recurrence of tonsillitis are very small. Some other possible causes of a sore throat are:
Muscle tension due to excessive use of voice muscles Allergies Irritation caused by consumption of alcohol or cigarette smoke Stomach acid disease However, to be able to be sure again, you should do a direct examination with a doctor.
Meanwhile, some suggestions that you can do are:
Try to have a regular eating schedule every day Avoid consuming spicy and sour foods for a while Regular exercise Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages and fizzy or caffeinated Avoid cigarette smoke That's all the information we can convey. May be useful
