Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
The ankle joint sounds when moved without other complaints can be caused by air bubbles in the joints, muscle stretches and ligament. This condition is common. You should avoid movements that make sound. However, if the joint sounds due to daily activities, such as walking, so that makes you worried, you should consult with an orthopedic doctor. Especially if the complaint is accompanied by swollen joints, painful or difficult to move. The doctor will conduct a medical interview and physical examination of the diseased joint. Furthermore, the doctor will conduct the necessary investigations, such as joint X-rays and routine blood tests. If other abnormalities are found to be the cause, then the doctor will provide therapy according to the cause.
