Sounds Like Wax In The Ears When Talking, And The Throat Feels Itchy?
Good evening doctor, I want to ask, why is it that sometimes when I speak (moving my jaw) I hear a sound like wax in my ear moving? And also at night before going to sleep, when I lay down I suddenly coughed like there was sand in my chest near my throat on the right? Well, when I cleaned my right ear, I felt this sand again until the tears on the right side came out on their own. Please answer yes, what’s the problem? Thank you very much,:)
Good evening, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. When a person moves the jaw, there are muscles that affect the movement in the ear canal. This is useful as the body's way of cleaning the ears. That is why, cleaning the ears using cotton buds is not recommended, because in addition to potentially pushing dirt further into the ear, the body itself can actually remove it slowly through the mechanism of the jaw movement.
However, the sensation of something moving in your ear when you move your jaw is not normal. You should consult an ENT doctor to see if there is something in your ear canal.
Regarding the feeling of sand, this could describe a condition that is usually referred to as an itchy throat. This can occur due to various causes, such as allergies to the weather or the flu. Among what you can do to reduce it is to use water, salt water, honey, milk and turmeric. If your complaints do not go away after carrying out our recommendations, also tell your ENT doctor about this. I hope you and your family are always healthy.
That's all, hope it helps.
