Spots Appear After Having Sex?
Hello. I am a mother of one child aged 8 months, when giving birth to my child my midwife had an episiotomy and resulted in total perinea rupture because my baby was large. I did stitches in the operating room. I had intercourse after 5 months of giving birth. Then my husband worked out of town for 2 months. Just a week ago I had sex again … but it came out spots, it turns out I was menstruating. Then after yesterday it was clean. I had sex again, but accompanied by pain in the mouth of the vagina and spots reappeared .. this morning too … there was a little blood spots. Is this possible that my stitches hurt ?? Because it hurts so much. But 2 months ago I was related why is that … please explain
Good evening, thanks for the question
Tears in the vagina after suturing after delivery generally will experience healing after about 1 month afterwards. After examination during postpartum control and assessed by a wound suture doctor is good, then the patient can be active again to have sex. If you still experience complaints of slight spots and feel sore when intercourse, it may be caused by friction in the vaginal wall during penetration which results in slight injury.
This condition can be dealt with by making some efforts to minimize pain, for example by changing positions during sexual intercourse that can make women more comfortable, communicating about what will make the pain worse and that makes it comfortable when having intercourse, not in a hurry in a relationship after giving birth, do longer foreplay, or use lubricants.
That's all, hope you can help.
