Spots During Pregnancy Enters 26 Weeks?
Asslmualaikum wr.wb, sorry I want to ask. I am 26 weeks pregnant but I have experienced bleeding and have had medical treatment and bed rest. After a few days I experienced brown spots and this has been going on for almost 2 weeks and has not stopped. Are these spots dangerous for my fetus and how can I overcome them? Many thanks for the answer.
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Spotting out of the birth canal during pregnancy, if it occurs only once, may not be dangerous. However, if these spots appear repeatedly, even after treatment has been given by a doctor, you should be vigilant. If this condition occurs at more than 20 weeks of gestation, these spots can occur due to various factors, for example placenta previa (placenta located near or covering the birth canal), abruption of the placenta (detachment of the placenta), injury to the road born, and many other possibilities. Worried, if left unchecked, you run the risk of anemia due to excessive bleeding. This anemia is not only dangerous for you, but also the fetus in your womb, because of the risk of inhibiting its development, while increasing the potential for fetal distress, the fetus dies in the womb, the fetus is small compared to the age of the womb, and so on. Conditions like this also risk triggering early contractions that can lead to premature labor.
Better, you check back yourself to a gynecologist for further investigation of possible causes of your complaint. That way, your doctor can also give you the best treatment, for example by giving uterine boosters, supplements, and so on. At home, the following handling steps you should do:
Bedrest (total rest, do not do any activities except those that are mild and urgent)
Do not always have sex that involves penetration
Eat and drink healthy and nutritious
Build positive thoughts, don't worry, panic, or be afraid of excessive
Do not carelessly take any medicine or herbs without doctor's advice
Hope this helps ...
