Spots Like Dandruff On The Scalp?
Good morning, Help answer my question, my child is 7 months old, on the back of the head there are patches like dandruff and often scratched when I see and feel my hand there are lumps under the skin which is located on the back of the head down and the pitch is there in 2 places right and left .. And the next day I checked again it turned out behind the ears there was also the same lump … I guess it’s dangerous or not?
Thank you for the question.
The appearance of dandruff-like patches on the scalp can occur due to fungal infections, infections of other microorganisms on the scalp, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and many other medical conditions. Meanwhile, lumps that appear on the back of the head and behind your ears can also arise due to various reasons, such as skin infections, lymphadenitis (inflammation of lymph nodes), skin tags, hyperkeratosis, milia, prickly heat, and so on. These spots and bumps on your head can be interrelated, or not.
To be clear, you need to see yourself directly to a doctor or dermatologist. Further tests, such as allergy tests, ultrasound, biopsy, etc. can also be done by doctors if deemed necessary.
In the meantime, what needs to be done is:
Wash diligently and cleanly Wash your hair and scalp with a special anti-dandruff shampoo, then rinse with clean water until it is perfectly clean. Do not carelessly exchange head coverings with others. live a healthy lifestyle, drink lots, and eat a variety of fruits and vegetables so that the body's immune system is maintained. Hope it helps.
