Spotting Of Bleeding That Occurs A Few Days Before Menstruation?
Hello. Before the menstrual spots, brown spots come out, there is very little blood. Is this a sign of pregnancy?
Good evening, thanks for the question
Spotting of bleeding that occurs a few days before menstruation which is a sign of pregnancy is called implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding occurs when a potential embryo penetrates the uterine wall after fertilization in the fallopian tubes. These spots occur about 7-12 days after sexual intercourse in the fertile period, some even occur nearing the next menstrual period so often mistaken for menstrual blood.
The characteristics of implantation bleeding include:
1. Pink, brown to reddish
2. Does not flow profusely
3. Can be accompanied by complaints of abdominal pain
4. Does not meet sanitary pads
5. Occur occasionally in a short time of less than 48 hours
If indeed fertilization has occurred, then after the implantation bleeding, women will not experience menstruation. After that began to appear general symptoms of early pregnancy after nausea, not feeling well, cravings, and so forth. But if you then menstruate, it means the spotting is not implantation bleeding, which may be part of menstrual blood that will come out.
But if you are in doubt whether it is menstrual blood or not, you should do a urine test pack first to confirm. Increased HCG hormone can be detected in the urine when you experience 7 days late menstruation with a sensitivity of up to 99%.
That's all, hope you can help.
