Sprained Wrist Due To Falling From A Motorcycle?
Excuse me, I’m Husni Hafizuddin. I experienced a sprain in my left hand due to holding the motor from falling. I have been massaged by massage therapists and hinges who were in the wrong position are in the right position. But after that, every time I moved my left wrist, I felt a sensation like being shocked. Please help.
Good afternoon, thanks for the question
In the wrist area there are structures such as bones, ligaments, nerves, muscles, and blood vessels. If there is trauma to the wrist, the radius of the radius or ulna in the arm can be broken or fractured, dislocated from small bones in the wrist, a tear in the ligament, or injury to the associated nerve. Complaints can be pain, numbness, tingling or electric shock, swelling, or difficulty moving the hand.
You should check with your doctor for complaints that currently exist for evaluation. The doctor will assess the physical examination of possible causes of the disorder. Thereafter additional tests can be performed to help establish the diagnosis, such as an X-ray on a suspected small bone dislocation in the wrist or a fracture of the radius and ulna, or an MRI on a suspected ligament or innervation.
In the case of mild dislocations, the doctor may perform a reduction, which is to restore the normal joint position under anesthesia. Or you can also do splints to prevent movement during the healing period in the injured tissue. In severe cases such as ligament fractures or injuries, surgery is required.
That's all, hope you can help
