Still Feels Pain In The Former KET Operation?
I operated on KET on June 23, 2018. Why yes, I still felt pain in the section of the fallopian tube being cut. Especially when I lift weights / fatigue, the pain always comes.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, pain that occurs continuously after more than 3 months after surgery can be referred to as chronic pain / persistent post-surgery (PPP or persistent post-surgical pain). This condition often occurs due to injury to the nerve during surgery. During surgery, tissue cutting is done and it is not impossible that injuries to the nerves (nerve cut) occur around the area of the operation. Injury to the innervation is indeed not able to heal easily, sometimes it takes months to years until the innervation can be improved, sometimes even this pain can persist for a lifetime.
It is better if you try to check with your obstetrician first to ensure that the pain you are feeling is not due to certain problems in your reproductive tract. If it is certain that there are no specific problems in your reproductive tract, then you can try to do a check with the neurologist for the management of chronic pain that you feel.
For now, you can apply pain medications or topical NSAIDs to the affected area or use patches that contain capsaicin in the area of pain. In some people, doing both of these can help reduce pain significantly.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
