Stomach Ache When Laughing And Coughing?
Hello, only a few days my stomach hurts when I’m laughing or coughing (just coughing for a moment, not coughing). Why is that?
Good morning, thanks for the question
When coughing will cause contraction of the abdominal muscles, diaphragm and chest wall to increase pressure in the lungs so that it helps efforts to expel foreign substances in the airways. If you cough too often or too tightly then the muscle contractions that occur will also be stronger and cause pain in the chest or stomach. This condition is normal.
However, it should be noted if complaints of pain get worse or even persistent pain even though not coughing. These conditions can indicate several abnormalities, for example:
2. Gastric irritation
3. Gastrointestinal infections
4. Pelvic inflammation
5. Urinary tract infections
6. Blockage in the intestine
Make further consultations with your doctor if the complaints of abdominal pain become heavy or persistent for further examination.
That's all, hope you can help.
