amualaikum, I’m fatya, I want to ask you this afternoon I slipped in the bathroom and my stomach hit the bath tub. Then I feel sick when I want to wake up from sleep or change position while sleeping. Will that be fatal?

1 Answer:

Hi Fatya,

Impact or trauma can cause pain where you hit. If the impact is not too hard, of course, only the outermost part of the body will experience pain such as in the muscles and can also cause bluish color on the skin due to several vessels that are disturbed due to impact or called hematoma.

If the impact is harder or under certain conditions such as pregnancy, it can certainly cause more severe disturbances even to the organs in the body. For this reason, if the pain gets worse, causes other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, fainting, swelling and others, immediately consult a doctor for further examination, either a physical examination or necessary supporting examinations such as ultrasound or X-rays.

For the time being, what can be done is to compress the painful area using ice or cold packs, rest, and use anti-pain medications, either topically or by drinking such as paracetamol.

May be useful,
