Hello, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
The recovery period after polypectomy (removal of polyps) in the cervix can last for about 2 weeks. During the recovery period it is normal for a woman to experience pain in the lower abdomen or small amounts of vaginal bleeding (spots). As long as you are still bleeding from the vagina, you are advised not to have sexual intercourse first.
If up to 2 weeks you still experience lower abdominal cramps, you should check with your obstetrician again for further tests. Cramps in the lower abdomen can also occur due to other things such as menstrual pain, infections of the reproductive organs, disorders of the urinary tract, or disorders of the digestive tract.
Mefenamic Acid medicine does have side effects of gastric disorders so after taking this medicine, a person can feel pain in the heartburn, bloating, nausea and vomiting, and it can also cause diarrhea or constipation. To get around this, you can take this medicine with food. If this does not reduce the symptoms of your stomach and mules, you can replace your pain medication with paracetamol, which is more friendly to the stomach.
So much information from me, hopefully it will be enough to answer
