1 Answer:

Hello, thanks for the question.

Appendicitis is an infectious disease in the appendix of the worm or appendicitis that causes complaints of right lower abdominal pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, no appetite, etc. This inflammation can be treated with drugs or surgery if it is severe and at risk for rupture which can cause infection to spread to all parts of the stomach. Appendectomy can be done with appendectomy or by making a small incision in the lower right abdomen or with a laparotomy, which is opening the stomach with a large enough incision. The duration of wound healing varies by individual, depending on the condition of the wound, the cause of the wound, the location, and the health condition of the person. In a surgical wound with a large incision, wound healing can be longer, the wound usually begins to dry from 1 week postoperatively, but complete healing can last for several weeks to months. Even though the wound is dry sometimes it still often causes discomfort such as pain, itching, etc. This is normally experienced when healing. However, if the surgical wound is accompanied by signs of infection, such as a wet wound, a long time to heal, discharge or pus, pain, redness, and swelling, then it requires treatment by a doctor. The doctor will examine and perform wound care. Treatment of wounds that can be done alone at home before or after wound care at the hospital include:

Wash hands before and after cleaning the wound
Routinely clean the wound with gauze moistened with 0.9% NaCl solution or an antiseptic solution such as povidone iodine
Apply the ointment your doctor prescribes to the wound and take medication regularly as directed
Change bandages every day or every bandage dirty / wet
Keep the wound dry
Perform wound control according to the schedule given or at any time when there are complaints on the wound.

Thus, hopefully useful
