Stomach Position Under 32 Weeks Of Gestation?
Hello, I want to ask, some time ago I just had an ultrasound, he said, UK I have 32week, thank God said the doctor is all normal, the fetus is healthy, enough amniotic fluid and the fetal head is below. I asked the doctor to say that if my fetus is located below, there really feels movement in the abdomen below, right above my genitals, conditions like this is it okay? Is this any influence from going up and down the stairs, the thing is I got married to get pregnant, my room was on the second floor. Please explain so that I don’t think too negatively, because people say my stomach is too down. Thanks
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The position of the fetus that makes it easier for labor to occur normally is the head down. In most cases, the position of the fetal head is already spinning down after pregnancy enters trimester 3. Rotating the position of the fetus downward can be characterized by several subjective complaints, including sensations such as something that moves or blocks in the lower abdomen to the genitals as you experience . Not only that, because of the insistence of this head too, often your mother becomes more frequent urination and more difficult to defecate. So, your condition is not always dangerous. As long as no other complaints arise, such as a tight stomach whose intensity, duration, and frequency are increasing, spots from the birth canal, severe pain around the stomach or genitals that are unbearable, and so on, often these conditions do not require special treatment.
Up and down stairs while pregnant can indeed feel very tiring. Too much going up and down stairs during pregnancy also has a higher risk of causing you to experience premature contractions, even preterm labor. After childbirth, excessive up and down stairs can also make the healing process of torn wounds in the perineum (in normal labor) or cesarean section (in cesarean delivery) last longer.
Therefore, you should first do the following steps:
If possible, move your room downstairs
If this is not possible, minimize up and down stairs too often
Warm compresses on the lower abdomen and genitals that feel uncomfortable
Start diligently doing pregnancy exercises so that labor is smoother
No need to take heart the words of people who are not necessarily true. As long as the doctor states that your pregnancy is healthy and there are no significant obstacles, then you can be calmer
Take pregnancy supplements as recommended by your doctor
If with the steps above, your complaint does not subside, do not hesitate to check back to the obstetrician in order to get the right solution huh ..
I hope this helps.
