Stroke Symptoms?

In June I had a mild stroke my blood pressure was 140/70 the doctor said I had a stroke because I have a gastric problem but I feel I had a stroke because I was stressed too many thoughts I wanted to ask if stroke could be due to stress
1 Answer:
Hi.
Stroke is a condition in which there is disruption of blood flow to the brain, whether it is a blockage in a blood vessel or due to a rupture of a blood vessel. Stroke has risk factors such as high blood pressure (hypertension), diabetes, high cholesterol levels, smoking, obesity.
Stroke is not associated with gastric disease. A mild stroke can be a TIA (transient ischemic attack). TIA is a mild stroke that usually reduces symptoms in less than 24 hours.
Stroke can be affected due to excessive stress. Someone who is in a state of excessive stress, there is an increase in the work of the sympathetic nerves and adrenaline. this can make blood pressure rise, and cause changes in blood flow to the brain. which it can affect the occurrence of a stroke. however stress is not synonymous with stroke, and stress does not always cause stroke.
It is important to have regular check-ups with a neurologist, so that the doctor can monitor your progress.
