Submerged Lung Prevention In Breast Cancer Sufferers?
Good afternoon, before starting to ask my question, my mom has had breast cancer for about 4 years, and is currently undergoing healing therapy with juices, and healthy foods. But about 1 week ago my mother felt prolonged shortness of breath, couldn’t sleep because if she lay on the bed she immediately coughed and the tightness got worse, and had to use an oxygen tube continuously. after I took it to the BMC hospital in Bogor, it turned out that my mother’s lungs were submerged, the doctor managed to remove it, but my mother could not receive the drugs because she was still undergoing therapy to cure her breast cancer. is there a solution such as herbal medicine or something to prevent his lungs from being submerged again? and what is the cause of these submerged lungs?
Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com
Submerged lung or in medical language is referred to as pleural effusion is a condition where there is a buildup of fluid in the cavity between the pulmonary sheath and the lung organ itself. Actually, this fluid is produced in a certain amount which functions to help the lungs move during breathing. However, if the amount is too much, it can cause complaints to the body.
These pleural effusions rarely stand alone unless infection occurs. Usually there will be other conditions that accompany such as:
Lung cancer Tuberculosis Pneumonia Cirrhosis or decreased liver function Heart failure Pleural effusion can also be caused by the course of breast cancer that is currently being suffered. According to studies in patients with breast cancer, pleural effusions are often found on only one side of the lung and usually correspond to the side where the breast cancer occurs.
So it's best if at this time there are still frequent complaints such as shortness of breath and maybe coughing, you should consult a specialist who handles cases of breast cancer that occurred in your mother. This needs to be done to make adjustments to the management that can be given. Consumption of herbal medicines is actually medically not recommended because there may still be other complications due to consumption of these herbal medicines.
That is the information we can convey. May be useful
