Swelling In The Upper Abdomen.?
Hello wb. I want to ask. From the upper part of my upper abdomen, to be precise above my navel to the pit of my stomach, there was a quite large lump. Middle bloated. Left and right like farises. When pressed it doesn’t hurt. Carried supine / fiddle, which looks just bloated. What could be the cause? thank you
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Swelling that appears on the upper abdomen to the solar plexus as you experience may indicate some of the following conditions:
Variations in the normal type of breast bone Obesity Flatulence, can be due to gastritis, gastric ulcer, obstructive ileus, inflammation of the intestine, gastrointestinal infection Barrel chest (usually occurs due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) etc. Even though it does not feel painful, if you find that the swelling lasts for a long time, or is getting bigger in size, you should still check it directly to the doctor. With a direct physical examination, or coupled with further examinations, such as x-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, and so on, of course your doctor can give you the right treatment. If necessary, your doctor may also refer you to the right specialist according to the type of illness you are suffering from.
At this time, it is recommended that you not over-press the swollen area, let alone massage it or give it careless handling. Use clothes that are comfortable and not too tight so as not to compress the swollen area. Eat regularly, small to medium portions. Do not forget, always keep your weight so that it is not too fat.
Hope this helps ...
