Swelling On The Lips?
Hello, I am epan 24 years, want to ask why when my body condition is not fit (fever / flu) often there is swelling in my lip area? Please explain and the solution, thank you
Hello Epan, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Swelling of the lips can be caused by several conditions such as:
Injury / trauma to the lips (eg bumping, bitten, etc.) Allergic reaction to a particular material Inflammatory reaction to an abnormality in the mouth such as a dental infection Symptoms of inflammation in other parts of the body such as Crohn's disease Metabolic disorders Tumors in lips The cause is not yet clearly known exactly Because the causes are quite diverse and can be associated with certain diseases, it is highly recommended that you do a direct examination of your condition to the doctor, especially when the complaint is being raised for further evaluation. The doctor may also ask you to carry out a number of investigations to help determine the cause of your complaint, after which the new doctor will suggest what therapy should be undertaken by you to address the main cause of the complaint.
For now, there are no special food restrictions to avoid. Avoid things that if cause or aggravate your complaint. Immediately seek treatment if you feel a complaint. Also avoid injuries to your lips. Do not use drugs or any material on your lips when the swelling occurs without the advice of a doctor.
I hope this helps.
